Anak Emas Buat Orang Cemas

Raja Petra Kamarudin
Terjemahan: marhaintua
22 Februari 2007

Inilah yangmenjebak Paklah tanpa disedarinya.

Tungguuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!

Pak Lah has been derelict in his duty and appears to be incompetent.

Current events in Malaysia speak of a government that is out of control because of Pak Lah's lack of leadership. Each time something of major public concern occurs, he hides behind the scene and lets his ministers or some other person manage the problem.

A good leader will come out in the open and lead from the front not the back.

It is not proper for the government to tell the Bar Council, the country's best legal brains, what to do when its so-called law minister does not even understand the basic notion of natural justice.

The Election Commission is another tool of the government when it is supposed to be fair and neutral. How can it claim to be an election commission when everyone knows that the electoral boundaries are so biased and skewed against democracy? Is it any wonder that the Barisan always wins the elections?

The other crucial factor is the bureaucracy, those public servants who are under the people's payroll.

In Japan, for example, you see this separation of the bureaucrats and the politicians clearly. So no matter who forms the Japanese government, the bureaucracy is able to function effectively and smoothly and in fact there is even a joke that you don't need the politicians to run the country in Japan.

The government is so used to deceit and doublespeak that it is unable to think straight and that is why it is full of contradictions. Take for example, the shameful keris waving matter. Now they are coming out and saying that it will be a permanent part of their political culture.

Western kings and princes have a ceremonial sword as part of their attire but we don't see their politicians waving swords at their political meetings do we?

But in Malaysia, reminiscent of Hitler's Nazi youth groups, can do it and we know the outcome of such behaviour years later.

The country spends untold sums of money on religion, building mosques at taxpayers expense, spending millions and millions on religious schools, yet corruption is so rampant and it affects every echelon of the economy. For years, every Malaysian knows that the traffic police are corrupt. Yet the government has not done anything to stop the corruption.

Let us face it. Call an ace an ace and a spade a spade. The Malaysia government has been in power for too long and lost its moral compass. It is lost in the jungle of greed. The only thing worse than a corrupt government official is the people who support him.

The non-malays know that Pak Lah and his cronies tell them one thing and another to their own people. They are masters of doublespeak and politicians are renowned for speaking with a forked-tongue.

More and more malays now know that only a handful of cronies take the lion's share of the nation's wealth which is meant to be distributed among them more evenly. Mahathir duped them with his plan to establish a few super rich malay tycoons.

The state of the nation is not healthy. Pak Lah's administration has failed the moral test. He himself has failed the test that he established himself. Judged by his own standards and words, he has failed. Tell me the truth, work with me, yak, yak, yak, but what do we get? The opposite! And now that the Bar Council has told him the truth - he scolds them. Shish.

Let us face the truth. Politicians are not royalty born to lead. They are given the chance to lead. Take away Pak Lah's role and what is he? Look at the high and mighty Mahathir. Where is he now?

The Malay Dilemma was a myth created by Mahathir to exploit the psyche of a victim's complex innate in the malays of yesteryears. But cunning Mahathir made it out that the British and the Chinese put the malays at a disadvantage. And after 50 years of Umno rule, what have changed?

Malaysians should not be stupid but angry that their country is being exploited by the people they elected to benefit them. It took a long time to get 5000 people to sign the petition to the King. It should have taken five minutes! Or five days.

But if I announce a free porn video, be sure I will have 500000 people sign up. The young in Malaysia had better wake up and start to do something about their country, about their future.

Don't be fooled by the politicians who say the Chinese are the enemy, the Indians are the enemy, the Malays are the enemy. There is only one enemy. The one who is corrupt. Everyone else is your friend.

Save Malaysia and take part in every activity that you can and vote out the corrupt politicians to make your country a better place.

Remember your future is in your hands and don't blame anyone if you suffer because you made the wrong choice. The last time many of us were fooled - but once bitten, twice shy. Do I need to say more?

Merdeka Day is a day of shame especially on this 50th Merdeka Day. On this day you have to compare how a successful country like Singapore has done everything right and why Malaysia has done everything wrong.

On this day you will wonder why are we not better off if we are still under the British, I can assure you - we do not fall into what we are today. On this day everyone especially Sabah and Sarawak should be reminded that they should not join Malaysia in the first place.

If you ask me how great are the Umno. I would say they are shameless people just like some Ang Moh who drop their pants for all to see.

I am very please Badawi admits that Muslim countries are among the world most-corrupted. Look no further, just look at Malaysia. Want to learn corruption? Come to Malaysia. We will set up universities to teach that.

It is the Muslims (those ignorant and confused) that are corrupt. Their leaders show very bad example and stop calling their countries Islamic countries. They are not Islamic countries - they are just countries run by false leaders - they are not Muslim leaders.

Right on, man. Could not agree with you more. Malaysia indeed is one of the few top corrupt countries in the world. Soon it will put Nigeria and Indonesia into shame! Using religion as a fascist front to enrich the BN gangs is sub-human and evil.

In fact, the whole religion set up in Malaysia is a direct duplication of the Hitler regime, with the Hitler youth now reemerging. Using this power to enrich the gangsters, as history shows it, will not last.

The World Bank has shown that reducing corruption by a small percentage will yield a 3 to 4 times rise in GDP per head. That talking about reducing poverty is a lot of bullshit. By just talking about reducing corruption in international arena to make fame without any knowledge of corruption's implication is sheer stupidity and we have it in Malaysia, time and again.

Islam itself is a corrupted religion. They copy Jews and Christianity religions. Then stole Pagan Temple and take away Hajar Aswad the Pagan God. Hmm what a shame?

Our prime minister is full of shit. When Israel attacked Lebanon, he voiced out. But when Umno Youth attacked MCA, he didn't know about it!

When corruption is so blatantly happening in Malaysia, he keeps quiet but can talk in conference about other Islamic countries. What! Look at the speck in your own eye first! Don't close one eye and peep through the other.

Why worry about others when our very own "half-past-six" ministers are worst than the armed-robbers, because they rob the whole nation under the pretext of helping the malays.

It is blatantly obvious to everybody except Umno gangs. That is because they are corrupted, suffering from denial syndrome, regressive Muslims, low IQ and living in the past. They would rather see and prefer the nation going to the dogs than having meritocracy and doing away with NEP.

Otherwise, how does one explain the rot and malaise this country is suffering?

Yes, the present malay generation need motivations and a lot of serious one too. A true role model to inspire them to greater height. There are still clear mind but are they just the trace of the dying old guards? Yet what do we have now as role models?

The underhanded tactics in politics orchestrations by racial bigotry, the immoral unethical accumulation of national wealth mostly via rent seeking, the distorted interpretations of man-and-god relationship via Arabilization.

These are the role models that the current malays are exposed to. So, what and how can you expect the malays will get out of these chronic Umno malays behaviours?

The trace of survival is in-born within every human. This character will demonstrate itself even more in time of crisis and remain as a lifelong reminder after one goes through the crisis and live on.

So, it is all come down to will the malays want the easy way out or to fight for it in earnest, despite all the challenges in monetary, politics and religions temptations, along the way pushing all the obstacles and kindred ostracize aside?

Where are the younger malay intelligentsias that will lead your people out of these woods? Are they all staying out of the country while the struggling old guards shouting like crazy just as the 'tidak-apa-stance' play its drum call to the doom march?

The older guards of the malays, know the fruits of success through hard works and struggles. Unfortunate majority of the younger generation malays just want to have the easy way out. Thus you have the present scenario in Umno.

Malays are lazy, narrow-minded, racist, in the real world. But they blame Chinese, Indians, white man, for many things. No wonder many person label malays as disgrace animals.

It is good for malays to go back to jungle of Africa, in order to avoid so many problems. Enough said.

Like what one said, your Umno malays label is to just rob the rights and benefits of the unassuming and poor malays, who think that you are fighting for their cause. Whom are you trying to bluff?

There is nothing to be proud of Ketuanan Melayu. If at all, it is only the personification of the ills facing the malays in general today.

Minus the nation building and economics, you Umno malays are left with only politics - right before and after independence. Creeps like you should find out and address this: talked and discussed corrupt problem which does not seem to go away.

If even after almost 50 years, and after all the generous handouts, you are still a bitter man, lamenting at our Indians and Chinese successes, then go back and do a bit of homework to find out, why you need to work more and talk less.

Everyone knows that they worked and struggled to build a nation, I mean sweated it out. Lest you forget history, the Indians and Chinese came here to build a country which was largely neglected. Ask yourself why?

Their sweat and pains may have been forgotten by selfish creatures cloaking in disguise in the likes of you malay, but this Malaysia nation shares a rich history of the "other races" contributing to the nation building, which you cannot be proud of.

Well, there are always guys like me who have tried and have been continuously denied the opportunity to "serve" this country, basically with the race card thrown at me.

Look around yourself and tell me as honestly as you can - be whether under such circumstances, I would have reasons to love this country? Unless you have a different definition for that word "love"!

To further prolong the grips of the Umno malays over the greed others, especially the Chinese, is been made the scapegoat for all things.

A fear that had has no concrete socio-economical standings. It is more psychological. For that all the Malaysians are been pull and push into the self-dug hole of only Umno ketuanan matters most. All things are secondary.

He forgets that what he has been written is just like the saying: spitting skywards and get own face smeared.

Such a mind is wasted by simple form rather than the deep down substance, show this guy's mind is as twisted and empty.

The saddest part is that Umno fanatic can write better, indicating a higher level of "education" but more tunnel understanding of historical facts. His education is wasted, and another basket case of form over substance.

From what Umno malay fanatic has been written, it can be seen that these malays are still at the balls despite of the facts that, the globalization will eventually making their factitious claim obsolete.

Many would like to dispute and point to whatever reports that claimed glories for all the developments stated for Malaysia now. There is only one word for this spurious cry - form over substance. Please think deeper to reflect this.

Just think about how Philippines go down the drain under Marcos government. Sadder still, we are not catching up with the top.

Instead we keep comparing ourselves with the bottom and sliding down the rank as we "proudly" proclaimed these achievements. How pathetic can one be!

Only in Malaysia can an 'honourable' member of parliament admit that he was the person who had the audacity to ask the customs department to 'close an eye' in not seizing a consignment of logs imported by his company and still walk away proudly as if nothing he did was wrong.

With all the accusations hurled against him, this minister does not seem to regret his actions. He admitted he has an interest in the consignment and even had the cheek to say 'What is wrong with that?'

I am really disappointed that no action (so far) has been taken against this 'honourable' man. He has brought shame upon himself as an elected representative of the people, to parliament and to the party he represents.

An opposition member was suspended for six months without pay for a minor indiscretion, and here we have a minister from the ruling coalition who has openly admitted his wrongdoing and no punishment is meted out. What an irony!

No wonder there are others who simply do not abide by the law if they can help it because we already have people in high places who think what they have been doing all this while has been right anyway.

That is Malaysia Boleh for you.

Now we all know why these ministers are reluctant to allow live telecasts of parliament debates, for we will then see them in all their disgrace.

For the minister to blatantly say 'So what?' and all that, I think we now understand why the Malaysian government and its policies are going down the drain. If the BN can only offer the electorate ministers of these character and nature, we, the citizens should and must start worrying.

They do not represent the people interest, they represent their own interest. And our ministers have the audacity to ask the overseas professionals to be patriotic! What do these ministers expect?

The latest episode has revealed how powerless the Malaysia parliament is. The parliament like many other government institutions, has its fangs removed over the last 22 years.

In the words of former Umno supreme, Dr Mahathir, parliament is a mere rubberstamp and he made sure it was just that. When push comes to shove, we now know that BN ministers will vote for the interest of their party first and not the people who voted them in.

What is the point of Malaysians voting for a BN minister when he is bound to vote along party lines? In fact, this goes to show that it does not take much to be a BN minister. Just do as you are told and leave your principles and conscience at home.

What is more disappointing is Pak Lah's response to the whole Shahrir episode. I think the government should wrap up its National Integrity Plan and bury it.

If Pak Lah and his people are all good people with good intentions, and we should all do whatever the government says and toe the line prescribed by this 'man of courage and good intentions, interested in the greater good of the majority and trying to balance many conflicting demands cutting across all lines', then surely the most intelligent thing to do is to dissolve parliament.

What do we need parliamentary democracy for?

I would also like to take issue with his assessment that the PM is a man of courage. In the first place, if the PM is a man of courage, he has yet to demonstrate any signs remotely indicative of courage.

What Pak Lah has shown us so far is not only indecisiveness but a lack of commitment to combat corruption. Pak Lah has successfully deceived Malaysians by promising to clean up corruption.

However, after getting such a huge mandate from the Malaysian voters, he has failed to live up to his promise. This PM is going to go down in history as nothing more than a great pretender.

I have had a virus on my comp and it wouldn't let me us system restore. I took it to easy tech but they did norhing and maDe it worse. No it won't even boot up into the user interface. It comes up with techinal problem in blue. I was told I could use the original operating disk to help but I don't know how to load it up. Any ideas? santoramaa
